Sheila THORNE Obituary
THORNE, Sheila Mavis (nee McInnes). Slipped away peacefully in Orewa, Auckland on 24 August 2021, aged 83. Loved and adored by all, whether as Mum, Nana, Great Nana, Church Nana, Sheila or by so many as Aunty Sheila. She lived her life sharing love, kindness and faith with all she touched, instilling the strongest values and forging the strongest, loving bonds among her children and grandchildren. You will be sorely missed and never forgotten, but you have left us the greatest legacy of love, strength and family. May the winds of Heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear How much we love you and wish that you were here. A celebration of Sheila's life will be held at a later date. My very sincere sympathy to you all. Though it is quite a few years since we were in contact I still remember Sheila and your family as lovely neighbours in Lower Hutt and fondly recall the conversations we had over the fence. We met several times in Auckland but our visits there ceased and we met no more. Again my condolences.

One of the World's truly good people who raised lovely children and whose grandchildren really adored their "Church Nana". RIP Seila it has been so nice having you as part of our extended family. Condolences to the Thorne family
