Long, Rachel Rēitu (Nee Murray). Passed away peacefully on 8 January 2026 surrounded by family. Loved wife of Trevor, Loving Mum of Brendon and Spencer, Loved sister to Audrey, Cathy, Marissa, Tira, Willy, Dan and Willy Willy. Adored aunty to many nieces and nephews, And a friend to many who were drawn to your glowing confidence.

RIP Rachel a wonderful close friend of my late mother Viviane(Viv) you two lived your best life and enjoyed a bit of the high glam life on many occasions. Such a beautiful smile and a big heart I have many photos of you lovely ladies I will look back over and treasure saying farewell is never easy the service today was very touching tribute and brought a lot of emotions for me. A much loved and respected member of The Mairangi Bay Bowling Club. Rachel was such an inspiration with her positive attitude to everything. Her friendly disposition made her such great company at the club. Rest in peace Rachel.
