Shaun OLIVER Obituary

I am extremely saddened to hear about Shaun's passing and my deepest condolences to Shaun's family.

I was a commuter on the Waiheke ferry for 25+ years where I met Shaun.

Tonight, I was at a church service and for the very first time ever, the Priest asked if there was anyone to say a special prayer for. So I asked the Priest to pray for Shaun Oliver, to which the Priest then dedicated the entire service to Shaun.

Shaun was such an intelligent, witty, kind and lovely man. It was an honor to have known him, as he was so highly respected by many of the Waiheke commuters.

My thoughts and love go out to Lynne, Vern and Jess on the sudden loss of Shaun. I worked with him for a few years out on the water and always thoroughly enjoyed it. He was well respected and always a gem to work with. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Sending love and condolences to Shaun´s family and friends. I have many fond memories of Shaun. I will miss the catch-ups. Shaun supported so many persons in this industry. A wonderful person, gone too soon.

My thoughts are with Lynne, Vern and family at this very sad time. I was very proud to have worked along side Shaun for well over 15 years and he was well respected in the industry. I always enjoyed our catch ups over a beer and will miss him greatly, my heart goes out to you all, regards David Jones
