Sharon WELCH Obituary
WELCH, Sharon Mary. Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 20th January 2022 aged 75 years after a long illness. Dearly loved wife of Andrew. Much loved mother of Emma (Deceased), Charlotte and Denise Stevens and granny of Arabella. A service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at The Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 117 Rickit Street, Taupo on Tuesday the 25th of January at 2pm, followed by private cremation. Vaccine passports will be required to attend. The service will be live streamed on Live2u.co.nz In lieu of flowers, donations to Lake Taupo Hospice Trust Inc would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Sharon was a beloved childhood friend who spent a lot of time with my family, popping across the street to chat or play. I remember us singing show-tunes in the car when we went on excursions with my mother. Sharon's voice was beautiful, even as a child. She will always be singing in my memory.
