Lola MAHONEY Obituary

MAHONEY, Lola Beatrice. Peacefully, on the 26th November 2025 at Waikato Hospital. In her 95th year, Dearly loved wife to the late Peter. Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Tim and Julie, Jenny and Robin, Brendan, Chris and Sinead. Loved Nana of Jack; Johnathan, Peter, and Everest; Brittany and Jasmine; Billy, Lola and Ivy and her great grandchildren Nathaniel, Kimberley, Riley, Harley and Storm. For over 40 years I managed Barfoot and Thompson´s City Rentals Property
Management Branch......retired over 20 years ago. I have fond memories of NOLA and Peter who we employed as cleaners. They were lovely, down-to-earth, and always very obliging. When my daughter was very young Nola gifted her a doll she had made herself. It has a wooden block inside, which makes it sit up, and it is very poseable. My daughter, now 45 years old absolutely treasured this doll and would go nowhere without it. So much so.....that she
still has the doll. My daughter, and her family, live with me and she has 3
sons.....so no call for a doll but Nola´s doll takes pride of place in her home office . A really nice memory which I a sure your family would understand. A
mark of Nola´s wonderful nature and kindness.
