Dear Bronwyn, Ernie & Susie, so saddened and shocked to hear of Shane´s untimely passing. My sincere sympathy to you all. My daughter Nicki has stayed with Shane and Debbie some time ago and she remembers him as a lovely person. (I think it was through Debbies cousin) I remember him as a cute little tooter in Kawakawa. Thinking of you all with love.

It was so sad to hear the news of Shane passing and my thoughts go out to his Family. Shane always took boys from our school for Work Experience in the Plumbing field and was there to share his time and knowledge freely. We will miss him dearly.

Shane was my boss and gave me an plumbing apprenticeship way back in the early to mid 90´s.
Good bloke and sad to hear of his passing!
There are a few memories I could tell, but a quick one is of him being the only person in the company to bet on South Africa for the 1995 rugby World Cup final and cleaning up the company sweepstake. So don´t be surprised if Jonah Lomu is having a few words with him now up in heaven!!

Great Man, great Dad, great whanau, what a great loss...
Gone way too soon bro.
Lots of good memories, one that stands out - Listening to Margaritaville in Oke bay with dolphins swimming around Kuaka, and big big smiles. You were always such a generous friend Shane.
Sorry we can't make it down to Auckland tomorrow...
Take care whanau, the sun will keep coming up
