Shane GEDYE Obituary
GEDYE, Shane William. Unexpectedly, at home. Dearly loved husband of the late Lyn. Dad of Melissa, Bevan, Jemma, Gareth, Emma and Tony. Beloved Poppa of Korbin, Madison, Zavier, Cooper, Carter, Issac, Peyton, Eva and Zara. Son of Ernie and the late Joyce, and son in law of the late Owen and Alice. Brother of Susan, brother in law to Peter, Steven, Stewart, Noddy and Andrea. Uncle to so many nieces and nephews. You struggled to do life without Mum, rest in peace with her now. We love you both so very much. Happy fishing… "tight lines!". A private cremation for Shane has taken place, and his family appreciate your love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be made online.

Good memories of early school days in the 60's at Thames Central School , thru to Thames High School in the 70's. It was great to catch up again with you at the high school reunion in 2000, a group of us all laughing how we'd all be in our 60's at the next reunion. Well, we're all in that age group now, how that time has flown. Sadly no more school reunions to share with you Shane. However happy memories of school days and friendships will remain. " Loyal and True" Rest easy.
