From the first time I met Selwyn he greeted me with open arms and made me feel like I was part of his family.
He always cheered me up when I was feeling down with his jokes and mannerism.
His door was always open, even when he knew he was going to regret leaving it open for me.
His happiness and personality is what I would look forward to when going back to the work yard.
Forever in my heart, always in my thoughts.
Heaven stole a good man from us all far to early.
Fly high, fly free with the Eagles, Magpies and Angels, gifted with golden wings.
Till we meet again. Stay cool and free. Glide like the wind, you will always be dearly missed.

No matter how hard I try to find the words, there is no words for the loss of such a great man.

However, Havamal stanza 75 is a good reminder...

Selwyn had certainly earned his fame through the legacy he built at Apex. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Sharon, Sean and all Selwyn's family. It was an absolute privilege to have known him. Selwyn's door was always open and he was always there to give advice when needed, and his ready smile and quick wit will be greatly missed at the yard after a long day.

I send my deepest condolences to Sharyn and Sean and to all his family and friends in Australia and New Zealand. His generosity had no limits. I've had the privilege and honour to work and know Selwyn for around 20 years. The faith he had in people all around him made us all feel we were wanted and important to him. We will all feel something missing in our hearts. Fair well mate.

Was like a second father to me and I'm sure others as well.
A man that would literally give you the shirt of his back. As you gave me everything and put me to work when I had nothing. You will be forever loved and in my heart.

One of the most amazing people I have met in my life, a very much loved and respected person. Could always brighten my mood no matter the situation, thank you for the laughs, guidance and for just being you, will always be in all of our hearts and it´s been an honour samurai.

Such a great bloke and boss. Was always happy and having a joke with us staff. Heart of gold and dearly missed.. thinking of his lovely family at this time..

A man who put the world before himself, work colleagues and employees were like family too him. He always had a great big smile and would give you the shirt of his back. The brief years iv known him and his family I have nothing but the utmost respect for them. We all lost a good man to early. The world would be a greater place if there were more people like him.
