Selwyn NEWSON Obituary

NEWSON, Selwyn Earnest. Passed away on Saturday morning, 8th June 2024, at Ambridge Rose Manor, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of Mary, and loved dad of Frances, Alan, Sue, Danny and Anne. Dearly loved grandfather and great grandfather to many. A service to celebrate Selwyn's life will be held at Howick Funeral Home, 35 Wellington Street, Howick on Saturday 22nd June at 1.00pm

So glad I spent an hour with Sel a few weeks ago. Although frail, he was lucid and we shared memories of happy days gone by. Will always remember how his emotions always shone through his sparkling eyes. And his passion for fishing remains a legacy through son and grandson. I´m sure Alan will be looking forward to catching a few with Dad, and Frances ready to throw them in the pan.
