Selwyn DALGETY Obituary

DALGETY, Selwyn James (Selly). Peacefully (surrounded by his loving family) at Tararu Rest Home, Thames, on 8th July, 2016; aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Jeanette (8 days short of their 62nd Wedding Anniversary). Loving Dad of Neil and Judy, Dianne and Kevin Madgwick, Kevin and Sharyn, Alison and Brian Keane. Special Poppa to all his adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Tararu Rest Home for their loving care and support of Selwyn over the last 2 years. 'Never forgotten and always in our hearts'. A celebration of Selly's life will be held at the Hauraki Plains Co-Operating Parish Church, Darlington Street, Ngatea, on Thursday 14th July, at 11am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ngatea St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to: PO Box 40, Ngatea.

DALGETY, Selwyn James. Passed away on 08 July 2016. Much loved and loving brother in law of Rosemary and David Ryan. Loved Uncle Selly of Brett and Trish, Grant, and Kim. You were our super man, a source of good but usually expendable advice, a very nearly expert. You were our fishing and camping buddy, the teacher of all things farming and our very best friend. We will miss you very much.
