Sel was there for me at a time in my life when my world was falling apart. He and his then wife (Marge) offered me a safe haven in their home--somewhere to heal. "The philosopher painter" met me most nights as I came home from a turbulent day, offering a kind thought or an insight into the mystery that is life. Rest easy, Sel, I will miss you.
