Condolences for Doctor Chandra and his family,
As I´ve only just seen this today.
He was a smiling happy doctor and kind to me and my family throughout my childhood and always a good listener for my health problems over the years as I remember a Doctor Lalor and Doctor Baker but always ended up
with Chandra as the others we´re getting older but always wondered
how he was as I´m now 60 myself so it´s been a good 40 years since I last saw him,
All the best to his family and I´m so glad we were in good hands back
then and he made time for us not like today´s Doctors 10-15 mns and your pushed out the door lol

Was shocked to find out that my dear childhood doctor had passed away some time ago. At one point he was our landlord and for a couple decades, our family doctor. So friendly and gentle and wise. Thank you for everything you have done for my family over the years, Doc! Rest in everlasting love.

Just read today of his sad passing 2 years ago.
Dr Chandra was my family Doctor for over 40 years.
Always kind and thorough. Regrettably I never got to thank him when he retired.

To The Chandra Family,

I have just learned of Dr. Chandra's passing. I first met Dr. Chandra in 1981 when he was practicing in Forrest Hill, then followed him to Milford. I was his patient from California and had two young boys. We spent many many years under Dr. Chandra's care until we eventually moved back to California, where I live now. I have tears in my eyes as I read his obituary and remember all that I loved about him - as others mentioned, his great sense of humor, his laughter which has never been matched by anyone else, and his warmth and caring for his patients. We would never have survived without him!!! The biggest memory and thankfulness I have for him is how he TAUGHT me so much about illnesses, problems, and everything that cropped up! In those early days of 1980's he would pull out a big old thick medical book and say, "here it is", and read to me what was going on!!! Those were the days. I was a devoted patient to him and so were my boys. We will always love and miss you Dr. Chandra. Rest in peace dear man.

Only learned of Dr. Chandra's passing recently. He was very kind to me and my family, always patient and caring. He looked after us since I was born. I'm glad I got to thank him personally when he retired and I hope to pass on his kindness. Rest in peace, my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about our Doctor. He was our family doctor since we moved to north shore.Best Doctor and full of heart.We will miss you Doctor.

I have known Dr. Satish only since 2016. He's my first GP in NZ after I migrated here. Being an asian, he's has been really kind to me. Even offered a discount on my first check up due to being in the same health service. I missed his gentle and warm care. He is a doctor who listens. People like you inspires us to be loving and kind to our patients. Thank you for leaving a legacy that will not just last in papers or titles but will last in people's heart. Chandra Family I'm so very sad to hear Mr Chandra has passed.
I cried when I heard of his passing. I never even got the chance to say goodbye when he retired from his surgery practice.
My mother Eva her children and grand children he looked after for many, many years.Three Generations.
He had a good sense of humour and very gentle.
