MAHON, Sarah Louise. The family of Sarah Mahon are heartbroken to announce her sudden passing on 10th October 2025, with family by her side. Adored daughter of Lynley. Beloved sister and sister-in- law to Luke and Katherine, loving Aunt to Arthur. Sarah will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Rest in peace and love. A service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 212 Parnell Road on Monday 20th October at 11.30am.

Sarah, we met in Geneva when you worked as a translator at the ILO and I was looking for someone to replace me as an editor at the ICRC ðuring my maternity leave. You agreed to do this, and did it brilliantly, like everything else you undertook. We became friends, and we asked you to be godmother to our sin Daniel in 1998. We were deeply shocked to hear of your passing - you were a tower of strength, resilience and resourcefulness. We feel privileged to have known you. May you rest in peace.
