Sandra McDOWELL Obituary

McDOWELL, Sandra Lorraine. 13 February 1945 - 22 June 2024 Sandra passed away peacefully with family by her side after putting up a long, brave fight against Parkinsons and other conditions. Dearly loved wife of nearly 60 years of Bruce, special mother and mother-in-law to Karen and Kevin, David, Tracy and Kellie. Treasured Nana to Sharna and Kayne, Kayla, Jared and Sammy, Daniel and Norma, Metoyer and Emma and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Parkinsons Society would be hugely appreciated. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Thursday 27th June at 11am, at the Howick Funeral Home Chapel, 35 Wellington Street, Howick, Auckland All communications to the McDowell Family, C/- Howick Funeral Home

Sandra you spent your whole life giving, caring, sharing and showing love towards all those children who needed it most at Howick Intermediate School.
Thank you Bruce, karen, David, Tracey and Kellie for supporting Sandra with her selfless kindness towards everyone.A lady with a big heart the void that she leaves in your lives will be with you forever.
