Dear Sally....so many wonderful memories we don't know where to start! Seventeen incredible years at Perkel Opera, remembering your warmth, your talent, your fabulous sense of humour and all the fun times we had together with you and our families. We know that Paul delighted in watching you continue the legacy of those years, passing on your knowledge and skills and love of Opera to the next generation, you have been a shining light and inspiration for many young performers and you will not be easily forgotten. Our loving wishes to Emma and Mel and family at this sad time. Much love from "the Person Family", Wendy, Linda and Carol. xxx

Dear Sally, I can't believe you've left us. My old school pal, always happy and smiling, always great company. Our last time together was the trip to Whanga on the rail carts ; so much fun. Our reunions won't be quite the same. Rest in peace.
My condolences to your family.

M dear Sally. I am truely and hugely upset at losing you as a friend. We spent many fun years at school (Stratford Technical High School) on and off stage together and at your home in Eltham.
The legacy you leave behind is huge with all you have done for young artists and the Opera Factory.
May you rest in peace dear Sally and please sing to and with the angels. With love and wonderful memories. Judi Paape (Wells)

Heroine Meconnue
Piping hot soup and buttered white bread at Opera Factory fund raising concerts on chilly winter Sundays in Eden Street.
Painstaking tuition of basics and discipline with compassion, in the vital formative stages of young students lives.
The artists remember, but these things do not appear in program CVs as they become celebrities on the Opera Stages of the world.
Thank you, and go well Sally.

such a fun and lovely lady. I first met Sally when she performed Violetta in La Traviata. This is Sallys' Act 111 gown in the making..... the Lady of the Camellias...... Sally dedicated her life to encouraging young singers. Her legacy lives on in the world of Opera. Thank you for being you dear Sally.
