I heard thru the grapevine that Sally was going through a tragic journey and that Sally has now passed away. I thought Sally so beautiful
I lived at my sisters home for a few months when my life was in disarray.
I am today thinking and remembering,
Looking out the top window over to the Parker´s home, hearing happy children´s voices, laughter, cries, and then happiness in the pool. Dogs barking!/scrapping
Then those sweet conversations over the fence with the children, bless them
.not to mention those fancy birthday parties for the Parker children.
It was all soo beautiful, lovely parents, happy children, happy animals everywhere,Such a happy loving home and family, most of all loving parents adoring their children
Omg why did Sally get stolen from you.
Take care darling family, you are in my thoughts, even two years later.
My Condolences to Dan and your 4 beautiful children
My love to you cheers Monica

So sad to hear the passing of Sally. She was one of the first people who reached out to me when my daughter was born with Down Syndrome. The afternoon tea she put on at her house to bring families together to meet me and each other was such a turning point in my journey of acceptance. I left Sally's house feeling excited that my girl could be just like Alice... and that I could be just like Sally. It meant so much to me. I lost contact over the years and have been deeply saddened to hear of this sad news today. Lots of love and strength to all Sally's friends and family.

As I was reading this obituary I was saddened by the loss of Sally. I did not know her so at this time I would like to send you my condolences. Death is a sad time in our lives, especially when the ones we love are so young. But by taking comfort in God´s strength, only he can help us get through this difficult time in our lives at this time. Have a good day.

So sad to read this notice in the Waikato Times. I was one of Sally´s teachers at Orini School.

Good morning Dan

I just heard that Sal passed away peacefully with her amazing whanau around her.

She fought a brave determined fight but is finally at peace however very sad for you all to finally have to say goodbye.

Nothing quite prepares you for that finality.

I have loved and respected Sal since the first day she rocked up at Heretaunga Kindergarten full of beans and with a true love for everything and everyone.  Always smiling although I do remember her very frustrated that law was so much easier than children!! Juggling poohs with the occasional tantrum and a sales rep on the phone who just wouldn't take no until she described in detail the bedlam ensuing! However she wouldn't swap it for the world and what an awesome job she did!

Supporting us with her peony fundraiser, a flower that will always be connected to her forever!

Over the past 18 months we have chatted through the power of messenger and while her struggle was real her love for her whanau continued to shine through.

It's time to say goodbye Sal as we celebrate your life in our own many ways.

Rest easy knowing the whanau that surrounds Dan and the kids is strong and that your hard work will always lead the way.

Moe moe ra e hoa xx  time for you to rest xx
