Well Ryan, it is still too hard to believe that you have been taken from us. Sometimes I wish it was just a bad dream, but sadly no. I am often in situations where I think about what you would be doing now or what you may have done or said at certain times or at events, you are always on mind and it's amazing just how our minds have the capacity to always be thinking of those that we care about the most and there is enough room there for all to share the space.

As always, missing you heaps and will always love you.

Ryan Gibbons aka 2me as Ryan Fox:) I remember the time you were staying by your mate Joshy Fox (you must have been about 8 or 9 then?) I remember as a treat for you kids i made a bay delight slice packed to the brim with chocolate but topped with coconut. I remember you turning your nose up to this bay delight saying it looked yuck but when you finally tried it I will never forget the beam in your smile - bum bum you..! Will miss your smile, much love to mum, shane and whanau xox

My Dearest Nephew Ryan,

I remember the last time that I saw you. It was in October '05'.
You were only 14 at the time and I thought to myself "Wow!" your gonna be a good looking guy in a few years.
A couple of days later we were chatting and you told me how much you loved playing Leauge and wanted to play for the NZ Warriors. You got that far away look in your eyes and said, "You just watch Aunty Yvonne I'm going to be famous". I knew in my heart that you would make your dream come true.
I then made the ultimate mistake and told you that you were going to be a good looking Guy in a few years.
As quick as a flash you turned round and looked at me and said.
"Aunty Yvonne what do you mean in a few years time..... I am the best looking guy in the world NOW". Then you gave me one of your cheeky smiles and we both cracked up laughing.

You made our family Proud.

Gone too soon...

Forever Young...

Forever Free...

I Love you Ryan and I will never forget you.

Love Aunty Yvonne XXOOXXOO

Dearest Ryan

I think of often and make no outward show,
What it means to lose you, no one will ever know.
You wished no one farewell, not even said good-bye,
You were gone before we had a chance and nobody knows why.

You are not forgotten nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memories last, I will remember thee.
To some you may be forgotten, to others a part of the past,
But to me who loved you dearly, your memories will always last.

Nothing can be more beautiful than the memories I have of you,
To me, you were someone special, others thought so too.

If tears could build a staircase and memories a lane,
I would walk all the way to Heaven, and bring you back again.

Love you forever xoxoxoxo

Oh Ryan, the ratbag funny things you used to do when you were younger!! always with that cheeky smile of yours on your face! I can remember one time when I was signwriting the Leisure Centre and you had headed down there. You asked me for some money to go to the dairy next door. I told you i didn't have any & you were hassling me. I came down in the cherry picker and went to my car to see if i had anything & you hijacked the cherry picker!! hahahaha I can remember walking back with $2 and thinking, where is it? then all i heard was your laugh and i looked up and you had you're big smile on your face telling me "it'll cost ya" for you to come back down!! hahahaaha When i told you i'd scrapped together $2 you looked a bit shamed, until you said "it'll cost ya $4!" lolol
I also think of all the smart alec ribbing you used to give Shane... it's amazing he didn't take you out!! lolol ya cheeky monkey!!
You're friends are missing you greatly as well as your dear mum. You'll always be loved and missed.
xx

I have so many funny memories of you Ryan - especially you and I having a competition as to how many ab master reps we could do. I beat you - you couldn't believe Emily's Mum could do more reps than you. What you didn't know is that I couldn't bend or move the next day!! Now you do. I miss your toots and you're cheery smile when you saw me out in my car. I especially miss that you loved my cooking - probably the only person in the world who did.

Six years ago we were newcomers to New Zealand and your dad thought we should be properly introduced to the country by taking us to one of your rugby games. You were still a youngster, but my oh my you ran like greased lightening! We found out later that you were nursing a broken foot. What heart and courage you showed!

Remember that time we went fishing in the boat and you caught that big snapper, and as I was trying to iki it it jumped right out of my hands and back into the water... we laughed about it but you didn't think it was that funny!
