Ruth Ford Obituary

January 6, 1932 - March 27, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ruth Ford (Howden) on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 89. Ruth passed away peacefully surrounded with love by her family at Milton District Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Jim Ford. Loving mother to Michael (Susan), Lyal (Joan) and Dan (Claire). Proud and devoted grandmother to Scott, Greg, Martin, Jimmy, and Laura. Ruth is fondly remembered by many relatives on the Howden and Ford side of the family as well as a long list of friends. The family takes peace in knowing that although she is gone, she is reunited with the one true love of her life - her husband Jim. Special thanks to the staff at Seasons and Milton District Hospital for the care they provided to Ruth over the last 10 months. A private family service was held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Milton District Hospital or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
