Ruth FISH Obituary

FISH, Ruth Mary (nee Hirstich). On Wednesday 30th June 2021, after a living a full life, Ruth passed away peacefully at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village, two days after celebrating her 97th birthday. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken, loved mother and mother in law of Wendy and Marino (Adelaide), Bruce (deceased) and Jenny, Gary and Liette (Quebec), and Margaret. An adored Nana to her seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at the Remuera Club, 27-33 Ohinerau Street, Remuera at 11.30am on Wednesday 7th July 2021 prior to a private cremation. The service will be livestreamed, please contact the funeral home for details. In lieu of flowers, donations to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ, www.leukaemia.org.nz, or donations may be left at the service.
