Rutger HALE Obituary
HALE, Rutger Telford Born 07-03-1991. Passed away on 24-10-2013. Taken from us suddenly in tragic circumstances, our beautiful boy. Son to Lisa, stepson to Paul, brother to Raven, partner of Danielle, grandson of Marilyn and Mike, nephew to Kushla, Plume, Shannon and Mira, cousin to Cleo, Gene, Travis and Logan, great uncle to Cartel, great nephew to Roy, Vena, Norman, Peter, Janine, Deborah, Murray, Brett, Kim and Adam, great grandson to the late Joan and Ethel. He touched the hearts of so many more people, too many to mention. The time has come and now we part, Thoughts of you so close to our hearts, The loss is like a burning pain, We would give it all to see you again. In our hearts you will always stay. Special thanks to our brother Peter for being there and to the Wanaka Police and emergency services for their support and assistance to Danielle. No words can describe our sense of loss for such a remarkable grandson. He was special from the time he was born. Stay strong Lisa and Raven, smile at his memory. Live life as Rutger did, turning those dreams into reality.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Rigs had such a bright outlook on life. Everything was done with a smile. He stayed with us in Te Awamutu while he was studying farming. I remember his bright smile and optimism even at 5am on a rainy day. Such an awesome kid to have around.

From the moment I laid eyes on you Ruddy I was totally besotted and that feeling of love never left. I miss you so much already and my heart aches for the future we will never have. You had such a passion for life it was contagious and many of us were envious of your "Traveling Wilbury" lifestyle. There is so much I want to say but can't put into words- our time together was so short. Now its time to say goodbye- but not forever as you will always be in my heart.

Constantly in all our thoughts, we cannot begin to imagine the heartache you are having to endure.
To lose an amazing, spirited young man is truly a tragedy. Rutger was one in a million, we will miss his casual visits but he will always have a special place in our hearts.
