Russell GARLAND Obituary
GARLAND, Russell Heathcote. On 30th December 2021 suddenly at home 'Hillsborough' in his 74th year, following a long illness. Darling husband and best friend of Felicity and dearly loved father and father-in-law of Nick, Deb, James and Rachel, Anna and Tom. Loved 'Pa' of Tulip, Anzac, Lachie, Sophie, Alex, Rupert and Fredrick. Loved brother and brother-in- law of Angela and Craig, Penny and the late Tom, Jill and the late Gerald and their families. A devoted father and husband with the kindest soul who loved friends and family dearly. According to his wishes following a private cremation his ashes will be shared amongst family and returned to nature in celebration of his life's journey. Rusty´s kindness and warmth are an enduring memory. (I remember aged about 10, wishing he was my big brother!) My deepest condolences to Felicity and family.

We deeply sympathise with your loss. Russell ( Rusty) was so good to us when we arrived in Marton all those years ago, introducing us to his friends and family. We always enjoyed his kind and sociable nature and rather irreverent sense of humour( at times!) .
He was always good fun.
And good at his work - my parents valued his advice for years.
Rest In Peace dear man.
