Roy WOOD Obituary

WOOD, Roy Stanton. Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Auckland Hospital on Thursday 22 March 2018; aged 90 years young. Dearly beloved husband of June, much loved father of Stephen, Anna and Paul and father in law of Jill, Robert and Jana. Cherished grandfather (Da) of Daniel, Melissa, James, Jesse, Michael, Callum, Shaun, Ariana, Lewis and Emily. A good, kind man who lived life to the full and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Roy's life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Tuesday 27 March at 1.30pm.

Roy was always a welcoming and friendly presence both in Auckland and Pauanui. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed much time with the extended families and their friends. His life was full with hard work, adventures, travels, golf, skiing and friendship. He was a hard worker who lead a very productive life, but always had time for a chat over coffee or on the deck at the beach house. Thinking of you all at the sad time.
