Roy HARRINGTON Obituary
HARRINGTON, Roy Dennis. Sadly passed away peacefully on 21 April 2023 aged 88. Much loved father of Carrie and Dennis, and Poppy to Ollie. Dearest friend of Annette McGrevy and Richard Winch, who both supported Roy and our family considerably through these sad times. A champion saloon car driver, game fisherman and storyteller extraordinaire who will be greatly missed. We wish to give special thanks to Dr Michael Chen, Dr Brad Volk, Sophia, Norman, Fritzie, Vely, Andrea and all the other wonderful caring staff at Edgewater Care home. A private family cremation has been held, however friends and family are invited to celebrate Roy's full and fast life at the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club on 19th May at 4 pm. My deepest sympathy to Roy's family. I was married to Henry Grocock and we spent a lot of time with Roy and his then wife, Judy when the boys were racing in the early 60's, they were great years. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Judi Catterick, formerly Grocock.
