Sorry to hear of Rowena's passing. She was a good friend to me when I first moved to Kapiti.

Rowena was a lovely lady,so full of life. I´m a member of the Kapiti Arts and Craft Society and Rowena was a volunteer minder in the Society Gallery. I along with Gill Allsop shared many conversations in the past. She posed for our portrait group some years ago. Very proud of her family. It was a pleasure to have known her.

Valued member of the Kapiti Women´s Club of Paraparaumu for over twenty years. Rowena was blessed with a natural ability to gather and welcome friendship.
Sincere sympathy to Rowena´s family at this sad time.

Rowena´s presence at Friends of the Library events always lit up the room with her goodwill, her intelligence and her enjoyment of life. All who knew her will miss her smile and warm greeting. She was a huge supporter of the Friends for many years and will be greatly missed by us all.

Rowena when we shifted into Hadleigh Court in 2018 you were the first person on our doorstep to welcome us, this made settling into our new house so much easier. You will be sadly missed by all your neighbours and i miss not seeing you as i walk by as you always waved out. We are away on Thursday but will be thinking of you and your extended family. Jane & Tony.
