We did our best to send Rosco off in style and I think we all did that at the Paddo bar last Tues with as many of his friends we could get together. It was great to hear that he was loved by many and found out about a side of him I hadn't known much about before. I will miss him so much.

Dearest Rosco, I am so shocked that the Red Dust Cowboy has hung up his hat! You were the best photographer ever, so talented, and I am lucky to have such a wonderful legacy from you - my modelling photo's! It was so lovely to be back in touch these past few years, since finding each other on Facebook again. I shall treasure our memories always. you will be missed very much dear Rosco. Remembering you today and always Rosco. You saw the world from such a different lens, capturing its depth and beauty. Forever grateful to have met you wonderful memories spent with Joop and Virginnia in Titirangi. Through you I met some wonderful friends Wendy and Trudy. The days at Hawkes Studio were the best. We talked forever about love life and the universe a passionate topic that never waned. I'll always remember you by a little almost grunt when asked something you chose not to answer your dulcet tone and whimsical smile. Man in black who wore a cowboy hat. Love you Rosco today is beautiful the sun is shining, today I say goodbye. Love and peace.

Both Matt and I will miss Rosco very much. He was our friend, mentor, confidant, neighbour, partner-in-crime, wedding photographer the list goes on. He was a true gentleman, an artist, a spiritual man and kind soul.

I was greatly saddened by the news of Rosco's recent passing. He was the loveliest man and he will be so sadly missed by his many friends in the art community in Brisbane.
I will miss the interesting chats we had (and many wines!) at gallery openings. I will certainly miss the frangipanis he gave the ladies! Rosco was a true gentleman in every respect. I stopped by the Percolator last night on route home from work and said a silent prayer outside the veranda where we often stood with a glass of wine. I have to say the art shows will not be the same without him.
I hope Rosco you are now enjoying peace and happiness in that great gallery in the sky.

With much love and sympathy to your family Anne Barry, Toowong Brisbane XXX
