Dear Yvonne,

I just learned of Ross's passing today from Colin Adams. As I read that Bernard has said, Ross was a great friend and a mentor and his must be a sad loss for you. With my sincere best wishes.

Dear Yvonne,Jenny,Shona,Penny and your families,
We are saddened to learn too late of Ross's death. We were in Brisbane at the time. We send you all our heartfelt sympathy. Ross was a special person to us and Bernard in particular always held him in high esteem. We loved his infectious laugh and joy of life. He was a great mentor and sound practical lawyer from whom Bernard learned a great deal and had no hesitation in holding him as a role model. It is good that he had a long life, but sad that the end was difficult.
We send our deep affection,
Bernard and Diane
