Ross ARDERN Obituary

ARDERN, Ross Albert. Dearly loved husband of Val, father and father in law of Sonya and Horst, Michelle and Stuart, grandfather of Felix and Edith. Died peacefully at home on Friday, 21 January 2022 aged 75 years after a brave battle with cancer. Thanks for the support of the staff at Totara Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Totara Hospice would be appreciated. Donations can be made through the donation page on the website at https:/ /www.hospice.co.nz/donate/. A celebration of Rossco's life will be held at the Buckland's Beach Yacht Club, Ara-Tai Road, Half Moon Bay, Auckland on Wednesday, 26 January 2022 at 3pm.Vaccine passes required.

Sincere and deepest condolences to Val and Family. Ross was a true gentleman- one of the best. Always ready to help. We enjoyed many good times with Val and Ross over the years through the BBYC Social Committee. He will be sorely missed by many.

Deepest sympathy to Val and the family. Ross was such a lovely guy. Will remember the fun times on the water, the many games of 500, and the bucket of KFC on "Party Girl", at the Viaduct Harbour celebrating NZ winning the America's Cup. Rest in peace Ross

So sorry to hear of Ross's passing. He was a a genuinely good man that I will personally remember for his tireless work at the yacht club over many years and as a keen competitor on the water. Rest in peace.
