Rosie was my baby sitter from when I was 5 years old (that´s 69 years ago). The Fraser´s were our next door neighbours and I loved going over to see Nin (Rosie´s mum) and Pop (her dad) and Nin´s budgerigar, Joey. And, especially of course, spending time with Rosie watching her getting all dressed up to go on dates and just hanging out with her. Rosie was a fabulous baby sitter, she was a great sport, kind, caring and we had great fun with her and never minded when mum and dad were going out because Rosie would be there minding us - including my rather rambunctious brothers!! I remember when she got engaged to Ian and we were all very excited for her until we realised she wouldn´t be our baby sitter anymore because Ian had pinched her from us -and was going to take her away-grrr! After Rosie and Ian married my family stayed in touch and we had very special and memorable holidays staying with them on their farms on Rakino Island, Ararimu and in theTaupo area.
To Rosies´s family, I am very much thinking of you all at this sad time - we all loved Rosie and I have very happy memories of being with her and your family and send you all our love and condolences. It would be lovely to reconnect with you all to share our various memories.
Warm regards, Sherry Reynolds (nee Leary)

Pete, Hamish, Sue, and families, sorry to read of Rosie's passing. Great memories of the odd weekend at Aramiro and then getting to visit both her and Ian when they were on the farm near Warkworth. Will definitely raise a glass to her. Kind regards, Neil
