Rosalie STEPHENSON Obituary

STEPHENSON, Rosalie (Theresa) (nee Chiles). Passed away Tuesday 10th December 2024. With regret the family announce the passing of Rosalie after an acute illness. Loyal and loving wife of John for 54 years. Devoted mother to Julian and Helen. A ceremony will be held at Sibuns Funeral Lounge, 582 Remuera Road on Friday 13th December at 10.00am

Rosalie and I became friends when still at our respective high schools in Dunedin. We were paired in a "blind date" procedure for a school dance. Later we worked together in the Dunedin North Branch of the Social Credit movement. Rest in peace, friend.

Our sincere sympathy to John Helen and Julian on the passing of
Rosalie. Rosalie was a wonderful mother to Helen and Julian.
I can remember her making batches of scones with jam and cream all day to support our gala day cafe when we were raising money for Victoria Avenue School.
Rosalie´s scones were amazing.

Thinking of you at this sad time.
Treasure those happy memories.
