With love to you Marlene and family from ours to yours. Thinking of you and feel the heavy sadness and loss you all have in your hearts. I worked with Ronnie and Nige at Westfield helping out with maintenence at times, he made me laugh, he was always respectful if he knew i was around and always appologised if he said anything that may have been offensive. I always said it's ok Ronnie, im no lady, but a woman, and while i work with you guys, im just one of the boys. He and Nige gave my kids and i there xmas ham they were given by a rep last year, i was sure he and Nige would get another each from Westfield for all there hard work, but unfortunatley they recieved xmas decorations and something else i think you would normally give a woman. My kids and i were very greatful. Ronnie would do anything for anyone, always polite. I remember one day we went to read all the meters for Westfield, he didnt have to use his stool for long as i read them, there was a bit of a height difference between us lol, we were having a good old laugh as he was short and could'nt quite read the numbers properly, the part he most appreciated was not having to climb down the man holes on Dowing St, as i stood above and read it from the path. Always enjoyed our chats with ciggerettes and coffee out the back. He would normally light his smoke in the office, fan the smoke with his hand as he walked through the office out to the dock. You would always know when ronnie was coming with the jingle of his keys and a different step in his walk to Nigels. I know how much he loved his family. A very proud man, that never wanted to upset anyone. Ten years at Westfield this year, along stint and you did well Ronnie. You deserved to recieve somthing special to acknowledge all your hard work and reaching a milestone there. Love you Ronnie, sending a big hug to you in heavan, hope the fishing is great up there and the sun is warm upon your face. You are missed and always will be. You reminded me of my dad. I know how much Nige misses his old mate. Iam sorry i didnt get to visit you. Jod'es (G.i.jods) kids xox
