Ron and l were great mates after we left school. One of our farm properties was across the road from his property. We joined the Young Farmers Club in the local area. Also we became foundation members of the Newly Formed Owhango Fire Brigade and spent many Wednesday evenings working on our fire fighting techniques. We were Best Men for each of our weddings held in Taumarunui. You are sadly missed Ron and will always be remembered for the many years you have devoted to your local community helping wherever you could bus driving and working with the local Lion´s Club.
Rest in Peace. You live on in our hearts. Condolences to Marie and your wonderful family. Your mate Terry Weller.

Will remember always that young man with the bicycle cycling to the school bus...we were all so envious.! Ron grew to be a wonderful person whose service to family and community were second to none. RIP Sincere condolences to Marie and family.
