So sorry to just learn of Ron's passing. My thoughts go to Sally and family. I worked with him at Alto, but most recently caught up helping with some property maintenance at his house in late 2020. We always had some great discussions and giggles about lots of things other than work!

I'm not sure there are any words to say how sorry I am for your loss. Look after yourselves and each other, and know how much he touched the lives of people around him, in such an amazing way.

Sal, Laura, James & families; we´re heartbroken and send you all our love. Ron was such a generous spirit who could never do enough for you, as well as being incredibly funny. We didn´t get to see him as much as we would have liked, but we will miss him.

Deepest sympathy. As the papers reported he was a hero, and you must be sp proud. I am Nancy Starnes first cousin, Nancy's father Lesley was my Mums brother and I did meet Ron when he was about 10 or so. Sadly distance has conspired against a closer bond, although he did pop-up on my ancestry, I sent a note but no reply. I am in contact with Ros Mitchell and through her Ross, we are such a small family. Have been thinking of you and your family with love since I heard.

STARNES, Ron George (Dad/Poppa). Born May 10, 1959. Passed away on January 06, 2022. Tragically, the world lost one of its best and the hole in our hearts is immense. Our Poppa and Dad, a kind, gentle, funny and smart man who knew how to love deeply, chat and laugh. You dropped everything for us and gave us your all. Throw a ball to Tommy for us. We love you forever Dad, we love you forever Poppa. Love your Buttons, Richie, Zoe, Indie and Maisy xxx
