Ronald SISSONS Obituary
SISSONS, Ronald Arthur. In Loving Memory of Ronald Arthur Sissons It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron who peacefully passed after a short illness at home on 28 December 2024 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Raewyn; special Dad to the late Leigh, Gary and Mich; and Bradley and Gina. Loving stepfather to Jacqui and Lance; Vanessa and Clive and the late Greig. Brother to Maureen and Gary Donaldson, and Uncle to Mark, Brett and Michelle. Esteemed Pops to Amber and Jack; Jess, Lara and Abby; Amy and Danny; Rhiannon, Siobhan and Callum; and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 3 January 2025 at 12:30 pm in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home , 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, Auckland. All friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Ron's life and legacy. May Ron rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him - we will miss him terribly!

On behalf of the Kumeu Cricket Club please except our clubs sincere condolences to Ron´s family.
He is still held in very high regard at the club where he spent so many of his summers and excelled as a cricketer and club member .
A true club legend Ron was the clubs first premier grade captain and still holds the club record for the most wickets in an innings 9/28 in 1984.
