Ronald MURRAY Obituary

MURRAY, Ronald McGregor (Ron). Ron passed away peacefully on 25 October 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife Jill and sons Cameron and Duncan. He was also a much-loved brother, uncle, mentor and friend to many. He lived a very rich and interesting life which was cut short due to cancer. Ron was a writer and communicator whose working life encompassed teaching, journalism and editing, Public Relations and Communications Management. Outside of work he was a lifelong surfer who loved soccer and rugby, and in his latter years, wood-turning. The legacy he leaves is of a highly creative and productive person, who was always keen to look and work "outside the square" to "make things happen", and to connect with people. A private gathering will be held to celebrate Ron's life in the near future.
