Condolences to all of Johns family.
Sorry l missed Johns passing.
John & l played cricket & rugby together at Maungawhau Primary School & Auckland schoolboy reps.
Then we became opponents at secondary school. John going to Auckland Grammar & l went to Mt Albert Grammar.
On to senior club cricket,John going to Cornwall & l went to Eden Roskill .
I always acknowledged Johns father who always came to watch John & Greg play.
Probably slightly envious because my father died when l was 5.
Later we met up again in business when Johns carpet company supplied carpet to many Townhouses a developer l worked for built over 20years.
RIP John, a fine stylish opening batsman & friend.

KASPER, Ronald John (John). Passed away peacefully on 22 January 2020 after a long hard fight with illness. Highly respected brother and great friend of Greg and brother in law of Geraldine; loved uncle of Richard, Joanna and Stephen and families.
