Ronald EVANS Obituary

EVANS, Ronald Aylward. Passed away peacefully at Metlife Highlands Care Home on Monday 30th August 2021. Aged 93 years. Cherished husband of the Late Valerie and adored father and father-in-law to Geoff (deceased) and Jill Evans and Gael and Roger Whitfield. Grandpa to Matt, Kate, Ashlee and Chris and grandparent to his extended family along with his 6 great grandchildren. Thanks, and appreciation to all the nurses and carers who took such great care of Ron over the years while he was in Metlife Highlands. He will be remembered by many of his fellow yachties and boat club members. "May the sun always be on your face as you sail away over the horizon." A private cremation has been held for Ron. A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
