DOUGLAS, Ronald Alexander (Ron). Treasured husband to Dianne, beloved father and koro. Passed away peacefully in Tauranga Hospital on Tuesday 14th December 2023 surrounded by his whānau. We would especially like to thank the doctors and nurses at Tauranga Hospital for their gentle care and love. We will be forever grateful. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at Legacy Tauranga 383 Pyes Pa Road at 10.30am on Tuesday 19th December 2023. So very sorry to hear that Ron had passed away when Winsome phoned .a big part of the next generation.so sad .you will miss such a super guy,husband and dad and I guess now Grandpa. Will be thinking of you all ,sorry I won´t make the funeral as I fly to Dunedin to have Xmas with my boy Pete and his family at their holiday home in Naseby .on Monday .will be in touch luv to you all,Alison Burt Rotorua .
