DAWSON, Ronald William (Ronnie). Born June 16, 1947. Passed away at North Shore Hospital on July 9, 2021. Eldest son of the late Gerry and Elsa Dawson. Loved brother of Warren and Lesley, Pam and John. Long time friend of Bob. Loved Uncle of Geoff, Nik, Grant, Janine, Chris and families. A service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held at Romaleigh Chapel, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote, 15th July 2021 at 1.30pm.

A great friend since my apprentice days in the 1960's.
Skipper of the 18 foot V class Mullet Boat "Luiyana" and later the skipper of "Flesha" a 26 foot Appleby Design.
Lots of memories of sailing and socialising around the Hauraki Gulf and Great Barrier Island.
Happy Sailing Ron and may the wind always be aft of abeam.
I will miss you.
