DAVIS, Ronald Bernard. NZ Police 0366 retired. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 19th July 2017 aged 84 years at Halldene Rest Home, formerly of Hibiscus Coast Village. Loved partner of Jill. Former husband of Betty and Ruth.Dearly loved father and father in law of Murray and Michelle and Julie and Garth Hickling. Poppa of Johnny and Mathew, Carrie and Alex. Dear stepdad of Anne and Roger Cann and family. Loved and respected friend of Lorraine and Bruce McLaughlin and their family, Geoff and Joy Sefton and their family and Damian, Kayla, Casey and their families. One of life's true gentlemen. A service for Ronald will be held at 2pm on Saturday the 22nd July 2017 at the Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road, Orewa.

My thoughts are with Ron's family. "Condolences". What an amazing work colleague. I had the pleasure of working with Ron at Gregory Ford in Silverdale, what a sense of humor!!. Ron you summed me up "Straight from the hip". So long my friend sorry I will not be able to make your farewell, but you will be in my thoughts date and time.
