Ronald CORNELIUS Obituary

CORNELIUS, Ronald Arthur (Ron). Born October 16, 1926. Passed away on December 10, 2024, at Norfolk Court Rest Home Dargaville, peacefully after a long fulfilling life, aged 98. Much loved husband of the late Susan Kay Cornelius, father of Sharyn, Stephen, Geoff and Phil. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses that cared for Ron whilst he was in Norfolk Court. A service will be held at the Tangiteroria Sports Complex, 23 Pukehuia Road, Tangiteroria, Northland, on Thursday 19th December 2024. I've had memories of Ron in my head for a week now - there are so many wonderful memories of the difference he made in Pupuke/Mangapa when the family arrived, way back when, and all the times he's welcomed me into his home since with open arms and a huge hug. Heartfelt condolences to all his children, sister Nona, and the wider family. With love

Ron Cornelius and his family were our neighbors in Turua in the 1950,s . Ron and his wife managed the local Dairy , rental car agency and bus service . The family were well liked and missed when they left . May God bless your family in this time of sorrow . Pat Bourke (Bourke Family ) Turua/Thames
