Ronald Berta Obituary

Ronald C. ?Bert? Berta, 55, of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011. A supervisor for Yarborough Development Company, he was a member of the Carpenters Union Local No. 230 and the PNA Lodge No. 750 in Glassport. He was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church in McKeesport. He was the son of Yvonne Reedy Berta of Liberty Borough and the late Ronald W. Berta. He is also survived by children Stephanie of Imperial, and Shawn of New Alexandria; former wife Carrie Robinson of White Oak; siblings Bonna (Gary) Pearson of Murrysville, David of Texas, Howard (Belinda) of Export, and Barry of Greenock; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, Pa., 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be Friday, March 4, 2011, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery.
