Roland LENNOX -KING Obituary

LENNOX- KING, Roland . The sailing world has lost one of its greatest legends. 'Roly' to his friends has left on his final passage. He leaves behind his wife Consie, his two children, Gilbert and Olivia, and his four grandchildren, Emmeline, Frederick, Hector and Agatha. He sailed over 160,000 nautical miles cruising and racing the world. Roly was happiest on or in the water. He was not just a sailor; he was a family man, epitomizing adventure and what it means to live your dreams. He died after a battle with cancer in Greece surrounded by his family.

Very saddened to hear the news. I had just returned from the states and was excited to see my neighbors and friends and went to see Roland the next day. No one was present so I figured he wasn´t back from overseas. Heart breaking for sure. Howard Risick
