Roger SHEARER Obituary

A memory of Roger is when he called to say our son and friends were throwing eggs at the staff room while they were all in there having a Friday night meeting...i had to go up and get the kids to clean it up, much to Rogers amusement! Rip Roger.

I found Roger to be a kind and patient man when I joined the committee for the Hibiscus Coast Branch of Genealogist. He instilled a lot of confidence in me when I was first overwhelmed. What a gem he was. I loved how Diane and he worked together as a cohesive unit. Much love to Diane and the family during this sad time.

A true gentleman. Rest well.

I worked with Roger at Birkdale as his deputy for six years. We had some great times and I learned much from Roger. Condolences to Diane and family and Birkdale colleagues.

Sorry to hear of Roger´s passing. Always one to say hello to me when I visited the camera clubs, Roger was a great support and gave me great feedback. A pillar of the photography community and a nice bloke. Rest in peace Roger!
