Rodney MCINTYRE Obituary

McINTYRE, Rodney Alfred (Rod). 6 December 1954 - 14 August 2018. Peacefully at Waikato Hospice on 14th August 2018 aged 63 years after a short courageous battle. Darling husband and soulmate of Sue for over 40 years. Adored father of Ryan and Aaron. Father-in-law of Kelly and Sarah and Poppa Mac to his very special grandchildren, Byron, Addisyn, Max, Nash, and Finn, Olivia, Bentley, and Arley. "A very special man, for ever in our hearts, gone too soon." A celebration of Rod's life will be held at the Waihou Rugby Clubrooms, Ngutumunga Road, Waihou on Sunday, 19th August 2018 at 12pm. So sad to hear of Rods passing. A truely lovely man a true gentleman, Ian and I met Rod and Sue at Bowentown fishing club, he always had a smile on his face and enjoyed a good laugh with the boys, he will be sorely missed at the club.
