MAHON, Rodney John (Rod). Passed away peacefully at North Shore Hospice on 17 December, 2012, surrounded by his family. Husband, friend, lover, motivator and sandwich maker for Trish. Much loved dad of Aaron and Rebecca, father-in law of Sharis and Keith. Poppa of Sophia, Ethan, Jarom, Arama, Terina and Niwa. Amazing brother of Colleen and Ken, very much adored uncle of Sarah, Chris and Terry and their families, and loved son-in law of Joan. "Thanks dangerous Rod No. 1 for the lessons, the laughter and the love. Hope the new bowling greens are up to your standard." In lieu of flowers donations to the North Shore Hospice Trust, PO Box 331129, Takapuna 0740 would be appreciated. A celebration of Rod's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Thursday 20 December at 10.00 am followed by private family cremation.
