In shock and unempowered today to have tried to contact you for one of our excellent chats and some rugby banter. I was lucky to spend some time with you and call you my friend. Some of the best advice I have ever received and while I did not know your family you always gave me a proud update on how they were doing. You are one of the good souls and made this world a better place. I will miss you more than words can say. May the heavens have a special place for you great man.

Saddened to hear of Rods tragic passing. John and I worked with Rod backin the 80´s at Wiri Woolbrokers. We often reminisce on those days. Our thoughts go out to your family Rod. Fly with the angels. Sue and John Cole Christchurch

Rod - I only had the honour of meeting you once in Wanaka but we had an hilarious time chatting on the phone several times. You were gracious, compassionate, kind and so much fun - even when recommending and helping with something like insurance. That says everything. Your passing has deeply impacted your loved ones. We just heard the heartbreaking news of "Roddie´s" passing. Our love goes out to you Rebecca and kids as you navigate this painful journey. We are so very sorry and will treasure the beautiful memories when we would visit from the LA. We know Chris is there with him now, giving him the biggest heavenly welcome.
