Rodney CAMERON Obituary

CAMERON, Rodney Alexander. On 15 February 2014, passed peacefully at Middlemore Hospital, aged 79 years. Loved husband of Alison. Father and Father-in-law of Marianne and Doug Crawford, Allan and Morea, Bruce and Yvonne. Grandad of Laura, and Neil, Robert, Shay, Hannah, and David. Uncle to Yiajia, and Joseph. A service for Rodney will be held at The Hope Centre, 91 Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe on Wednesday 19 February at 12.30pm, followed by burial at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 357 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe. Papatoetoe Funeral Cottage

Dear Alison
I was so sad to read of Rodney's passing. I always enjoyed sharing his stories of Cameron days in the Wairarapa, and he was an invaluable contributor to our little group working with Marc Ulyatt on the Cameron history. I was honoured that he gave me so much of his (and Marianne's) early research.
Please accept my love and sympathy.
