Roderick FRASER Obituary

I had the pleasure of knowing Rod while working at Air New Zealand Engineering Services in Auckland.He had the Right Stuff and was an expert in his field who graciously imparted his knowledge to those who were new in Technical Services including me.He loved to tinker hands on with anything that needed repair and his work station was a testament to what he could repair.He was an aviation Technical master in every sense of the word.Fly in peace Rod.

Greatly saddened by the passing of our friend and colleague, Rod. He was loyal, generous and ever willing to offer advice. He will be missed. From Brian and his old team at Air NZ

Rod and I met when he was 18 and I was 15, he had the only red n white holden convertable in NZ .we all piled in and we joy rode everywhere . 58 years on we were still good friends ,I will always remember you ""fraser"".xx

Rod and I started as apprentices at TEAL in 1963 , unfortunately due to living overseas I cannot attend rods service , I would like to express my deepest sympathy to all his family members ..we all knew him affectionately as "the beetle " God speed old boy, rest in peace

Rod Fraser, aka - RDF, A great man that gave 55 years' service to Air NZ and would have given more if he could have. He often spoke about his children and grandchildren with pride. You are his legacy. Rest in peace Rod. We'll never forget you, Muz Painton
