STRANGE, Robyn Annette. 1962 - 2022 Robyn Annette, a delight to all who met her, passed away on 20 September in Richmond, Nelson, after a short and hard-fought battle with cancer. Robyn was a beloved mother to Emily Unkovich, treasured sister and sister-in-law to Debra and John Russell, Tony and Thes Strange, Elliot and Leigh Strange, Helena Strange and Paul Bothwell. She was "the cool aunty" to nieces, nephews, and "greats". Robyn's best mate, John "JD" Whitehouse, was at her side every hour, every day. She was a special lady to John's children William, Jess, Matt and Jade, and precious grandchildren. Robyn's talents and sparkle will be remembered by many through her musical life as a violin prodigy and accomplished viola player, including as a member of the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, St Matthew's Chamber Orchestra, the Devonport Chamber Orchestra and crossover group Wonderfish. A private cremation was held in Nelson on 23 September. To celebrate her life, "rudely" cut short by cancer, the family welcome all to a memorial service at 11 am Tuesday, 4 October, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 20 Church Street, Devonport. Feel free to dress brightly, honouring Robyn's love for colour, fun and joy. Tributes: Colourful flowers or donations to the Cancer Society are welcomed. All messages for the family to:
