SKEATES, Robyn Joan. In Memorial. A year ago, today the world lost a most remarkable woman. Robyn remains dearly missed by her husband, family, and friends, who all absolutely loved her. Robyn never wanted to be the centre of attention, yet without exception, Robyn would easily brighten every room she walked into. She brought her contagious smile to every occasion, along with her tireless energy and infectious laugh. Robyn's bold nature, compassionate heart, caring, kindness and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten as memories and stories of Robyn continue to remind us to enjoy every day. Robyn was a true inspiration to us and others as she led by example and accepted her health challenges with a grace and dignity to be proud of. Robyn always took a special interest in everyone and really got to know people as her main purpose in life was to help others in any way she could. With her positive mindset, her amazing ability to visualise the outcome; Robyn brought out the best in every person, every conversation, every opportunity. A special thanks, from Robyn and I to the many medical specialists, doctors, nurses, hospice caregivers who did their very best. A donation to Harbour Hospice North Shore in Robyn's name would help others. To all her family and friends for their support throughout this year of firsts, thank you. Robyn's gone but certainly not forgotten. We love you, Robyn.
